KINKISHARYO International delivers its first light rail car to Los Angeles Metro under the company’s P3010 contract. The delivery was ahead of schedule, a first for Metro.
“We are moving our U.S. headquarters because we believe in Los Angeles and believe that this location will give us great opportunities to grow our business,” Teiji Tani, president of KINKISHARYO International, said in an email to local media.
New Jersey Transit’s Board of Directors on Wednesday, July 9, 2014, approved a $54 million contract to add center sections to NJT’s existing light rail transit fleets serving two LRT lines, in order to bolster passenger capacity.
